Founded in 2000, Private Refuse and Garbage Disposal (PRGD) is the original cornerstone of the Montrose Investment Holdings portfolio of companies.
Located in Saint Vincent with a regional reach, PRGD is built on a foundation of hard work, community led customer service and an understanding of the importance of environmental solutions to waste management.
The PRGD team delivers five core services from garbage collection and disposal to beach clean-up and drug incineration, serving the private and pubic sectors.

Garbage Collection and Disposal
Supported by a loyal customer base of over 80 local and foreign-owned businesses across the Island, including restaurants, hotels, supermarkets, boutiques, and retail store owners.
Garbage collection and disposal is the original service offered by PRGD on Saint Vincent, since 2002, and continues to be the backbone of the business. Revenue streams show steady growth of eighteen percent (18%) year on year,

Power Wash and Deep Clean
Power Washing is also an integral part of the original PRGD business. Serving residential homeowners and commercial businesses. Offering a range of pressure washing and exterior cleaning services.
This service has recently expanded to include industrial scale specialised kitchen cleaning, in particular oven hoods and ducts plus, HVAC air conditioning systems.

Event Site Clean-Up
From the Film, Fine Art and Fashion Festival in January, Vincy Mas - Saint Vincent Carnival in July, to Independence Day in October, Saint Vincent is host to an annual calendar of activities, in addition to the numerous private events including weddings and conferences.
In the last year, PRGD has experienced significant increased demand for Event Site Clean-Up services.

Beach Clean-Up and Environmental Solutions
New for 2025, PRGD is directly addressing the collection and repurpose of the Sargassum inflows onto the beaches of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
The team will implement a beach clean-up programme, for both the public and private sectors. This presents a significant opportunity for PRGD to drive business growth and to contribute to the sustainable development of the islands.

Health Services and Law Enforcement
have a need to safely dispose of medical and drug related waste. Typically including incineration as the method of destruction to ensure all paraphernalia is safely and permanently destroyed and cannot re-enter circulation.
PRGD will be offering local and mobile drug disposal units at key locations, supported by trained staff.
